I saw this movie at the LA Short Fest and thought that it was a great ensemble cast, which is often difficult to deliver. Every person in this movie was on point with their performance. Theatrically trained actors like Rob Morgan (played a homeless character named Stinky), Nashawn Kearse (played the lead named James), Ephraim Benton (played an imprisoned father) and Jas Anderson (don't want to spoil it for you *wink*) showed their true love for the craft of acting and brought real life to the piece. You have got to see this movie! The Tombs has a socially conscious undertone without being "preachy" or condescending. If you have the opportunity to catch this film at your local film festivals, I would highly recommend it. You should even contact the program directors of the festivals in your area and request that the film be added to their program.
