This is probably Alex Magaña's first short film where I felt the need for a little more runtime. Take it as a praise, it assumes I wanted more, and that's rarely ever happens with Alex's stuff. Events conclude too quickly, and that killed the unborn mood, I'm also not a big fan of the black and white ghost singer either (less is sometimes more, and certainly less tasteless), but the mere fact that Alex tried to experiment with the horror of distorted sounds and he didn't forced any cell phone into the scene is such a merit, which must be recognized. No chills, no scare, not even a mild twitch, (and nothing else anyways, really), so unlike the low stimulus youtube comment cheerleaders, I would strongly refrain from shouting a "masterpiece" or even a "well done", but our director lad made something that isn't a laughing stock... honestly, I wouldn't have thought I would live this day.
