The series very first guest interview was with Karl Johanson, which had the award-winning writer/game designer on the hot seat, literally, for his interview during a heat wave. The interview was taped during a record-breaking highest temperature ever in Victoria, British Columbia 44.8 °C (112 °F). With a full beard, it became so hot that noticeably Karl's face was red. Despite this, he still didn't pause for the 20-minute interview.

Alternative Versionen
The season two finale episode titled "Dan Curry - visual effects producer/supervisor; Emmy Award winner - Star Trek" was originally aired as a 1-hour TV special. For syndication, this episode was reedited into two-part episodes to fit half-hour timeslots.
