V & F

V & F is a delightfful whimsical animation that projects love onto the physical world around us. In this case it's a flirty vine, Vernell, in a sweet-as-honey voice by Michelle Arthur, entwining herself around an unyielding and unapologetically immovable fence, Frank, voiced by Jeff Vernon. Naturally, this relationship has its challenges -- just like all human romances! Much applause to Arthur, also the Director/Writer, who very cleverly helps us understand certain realities with fanciful imagery from Vernon, the Animator/Film Editor, and magical music by R. Kim Shultz, the Composer/Sound Designer. It's an enjoyable and thought-provoking look at human relationships, which underscores the growth that can take place with our brief lives here on earth.
