Xia tan Jian Bu Zhi

For a wuxia series, this one truly surprised me with the unconventional hero who does not possess any martial arts skill but amazing detecting ability. The mystery solving was done a la famous Sherlock Holmes/Hercule Poirot/Detective Conan style.

The two male leads have got nice chemistry and the bromance was realistic without the ambiguity of possible love relationship within the two. Supporting characters are fun to watch with so many hilarious moments that would make you laugh out loud.

Even the fighting scenes were carefully done and surprisingly well crafted without any of those CGI effects. And another interesting attribute, it has only 24 episodes which would not take long time to complete and did not dilly dally on unimportant part.

If you like those attributes in a wuxia series, then this one is perfect for you. I personally would love to see a second season should they do so.
