On December 6, 2018, Sylvester Stallone stated this would be the last "Rambo" film and that his character would "finally find what he assumes to be peace." However, at Cannes 2019, Stallone countered that he would continue to play the character of John Rambo should this film prove to be successful.

The left side face scar that Rambo received on the second film while being tortured on Vietnam and that was visible in the sequels is missing on this one.

Crazy Credits
The end credits show a montage of scenes from all five movies, and ends with Rambo getting up from his seat, then riding off on a horse into the sunset.

Alternative Versionen
Two different versions have been released theatrically and on home video. One version is 89 minutes long and has been released in the US and the UK. The other version, released in various countries, is 100 minutes long. The 100 minutes version has a longer opening sequence where Rambo is helping to rescue people caught in a storm. The 89 minute cut is also the only version available on home video in the U.S and U.K while the international cut is the only one available everywhere else.

Have to write a review after watching it

I haven't been writing a review in here for years, but after watching Rambo last night, I felt it is needed, since we will never see Stallone as Rambo again.

This Rambo is the weakest in the lineup. At times I was thinking, why do they even call it Rambo, could name the movie anything else. I didn't get the Rambo feeling throughout the whole movie, and I grew up with these movies loving them.

Only cause of Stallone I give it 6 otherwise its a 5.

Goodbye to the Rambo franchise, which started with a surprise, and died out 40 years later.
