The series was initially set to premiere its first two episodes on March 21st 2020 during the Series Mania festival, before beginning its television broadcast on April 15th and receiving a DVD release on May 5th, but this was all changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Series Mania festival was canceled, the television broadcast was delayed four and a half months to August 31st and the DVD release to September 15th.

Suspend your disbelief and enjoy the show

Watchable period drama from France, not always the most believable, but still pretty entertaining. The interiors are beautiful, overall a visual treat. I'm sure they could have found a bit more heavy built and androgyne actress for the main role - she just isn't very believable as a grown man because of her size and slender figure.
