So chances are you, the fine reader of this review, will never see this movie. I got the privilege because Scott Bryan is my old manager from the movie theater. However, in the case that you may want to see it, just give him a notice... he'll send it to you.
Advertisement out of the way, is it really worth your time to watch it? Well, if you like shorts, and if you like student films, then probably. You just have to have a strong stomach for poor continuity and the microphone appearing here and there, among other things. However, it's all in the fun of a student movie, right? So let's get started...
Evan is... well... I guess his strange voice-over narration and the weird way his reality doesn't really fit is explained by the drugs, or something. Or it could be explained by the fact that such things are really fun to do when making your own movie. Whatever the case, don't search for meaning in it, just sit back and enjoy. Anyways, then some guy comes and apparently is the bad-guy (we know this because the movie tells you) and hilarity ensues.
Strong points of this film involve a coat-hanger, discussing dreams while pulling objects out of Evan's anus, and another manager of the movie theater as this cop. It really is enjoyable, which is all a student film can be...
Acting is surprisingly good. And the demon guy is actually creepy, though I don't think that has much to do with camera effects so much as that the guy who plays him actually really does look very creepy.
