David Faustino mentions that Eine schrecklich nette Familie (1987) ran for 11 years. It actually ran for 10 years, but 11 seasons, due to the fact that the pilot episode premiered in April instead of typically in September, which was when the second season premiered. The series finale premiered exactly one month after the 10th anniversary of the pilot episode.

Reminiscent of one of the best comedy shows of all time.

One of my favorites, at least. I really enjoyed the 11 years shows starring Al, Peg, Kelly, Bud, & Buck. (Watching every episode in the span of three months all thanks to the re-runs on TBS.)

8/10 on this TV special.
