The animation for this short film is not great--there are lots of geometric shapes that are supposed to be people and cars. However, despite its limitations, there is a cleverness about the film that makes you laugh.
The film purports to be a safe driving lesson--first showing you what not to do and second, showing what you should do. However, the second "better" solution is always much worse in the long run--causing much mayhem. My favorite is the one with the dog--but I'll say no more.
I have used this short occasionally in the past when I was a school teacher. If we had about 4 or 5 minutes left to go at the end of class, I'd show it to the high school kids--telling them it's "an important safe driving video"--and wait to see them laugh at the crazy antics of this Bozzetto short. Highly recommended--plus, since it's only 4 minutes long, you can't go too wrong.
