Lousy special effects and clumsy stagings sink Francois Clousot's "Sensual Experience", typical of those throw-away videos that proliferated during the VHS era.
Asia Carrera and Vince Vouyer portray a sappy married couple in love with their brand-new home which, alas, proves to be haunted. She enlists an expert to de-louse the place, in the form of Michael J. Cox, one of my favorite leading men from the '90s into the new year, but not given much to work with her.
Very poor smoke, wind and lighting effects herald the periodic appearance of the apparitions, who show up to have sex, of course. The femme ghosts have huge breasts, not to make Carrera look bad but rather to satisfy us Hefner/Meyer-raised denizens of the audience who require, like clockwork, the injection into a narrative of massive mammaries.
Clousot is inconsistent about the big jug casting, however, with the formidable team of Raquel Devine and Jessica Jewel (credited here oddly as Heather Hor'nay) as the first ghosts, and then substituting a different blonde ghost in the form of luscious Joelani when the inevitable orgy is stage later in the show.
It's a mindless excuse for porn content to erupt, and further evidence of how significant the great (and unappreciated) filmmaker Bud Lee was to wife Asia's career -he certainly would have handed in a ghost-movie vastly superior to this one to showcase her talents.
