Roy and HG are back and in fine form

Sports commentators Roy Slaven and HG Nelson provide daily "commentary" on the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. A send-up of proceedings, Roy and HG poke fun at some of the aspects of the events and provide alternative views and commentary.

Hilariously funny. Following on from The Dream with Roy and HG in which they parodied the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Roy and HG, played by comedians John Doyle and Greg Pickhaver respectively, now turn their attention to the Winter Olympics. They provide a great antidote to the seriousness of Olympic sport, doing so in wonderfully disarming and non-malicious fashion.

The unscripted nature of the show adds to the charm and banter.

Not as good as their take on the Sydney Olympics. It might just be their and our unfamiliarity with the Winter Olympics and its events, making it more difficult for them to parody the events and us more difficult to understand what they're parodying. Still, it's very funny.
