Parade of vaudeville talent offers two significant performances

Pot-boiler musical short with a parade of vaudeville talent from the mid-1930s: tap dancers (King, King and King), Russian singer (Adia Kuznetzoff), pop vocalist (Gogo De Lys). Totally forgettable, except for the fact that it offers two outstanding groups: The Original Dixieland Jazz Band performs a full jazz number, as do The Charioteers ("I Guess I'll Have to Change My Plans"). These appearances raise this short to stellar quality. The Charioteers became famous as a gospel recording group in the 1940s, but here as young men they sing a pop song of the era. And the ODJB, which is celebrated as the ensemble which made the first jazz phonograph records (in 1917), is very difficult to find on sound motion pictures.
