A Fêmea do Mar

The lonely Jeruza (Neide Ribeiro) lives in a simple isolated house by the seaside with the siblings Cassandra (Aldine Müller) and Ulisses (Calu Caldine) and the family survives selling handicrafts for a local store. Her husband Santiago is a sailor that has been missing for many years.

When the stranger Roque (Jean Garrett) arrives at Jeruza's house late afternoon, he tells that Santiago was murdered in a bar fight. Jeruza lodges Roque to spend the night and they have one night stand. Then he seduces Cassandra that loses her virginity with him and he convinces Ulisses to have an incestuous relationship with his sister. Jeruza realizes that Roque, who has a dreadful secret, is a destructive being that is threatening her family.

"A Fêmea do Mar" is an erotic Brazilian film with a good cinematography and a great music score with Beethoven and Grieg. The story is a sort of tropical version of Teorema (Pasolini) by Ody Fraga.

A stranger comes to the house of a family of the man that he has killed and changes their inexistent sexual lives. Aldine Müller is in the top of her beauty and Ody Fraga explores her nudity for the satisfaction of the male audiences. The conclusion is moralist but satisfactory. My vote is six.
