Shatrughan Sinha stated " Milap was my first film as a leading man. Around this time I never touched alcohol, slept early, and met Reena Roy who was just 16.We went on to make many films together. We shared something intimate. How ever Milap gave me a chance to work with B.R. Ishara. In one shot i had to deliver a lengthy monologue while Reena just had 1 sentence. But we kept giving retakes because Reena kept forgetting his line. I had 6 roles in the film and we finished the entire shooting in just 16 days. Milap is my favorite flop film".
