Chickboxer

Generally, when I read a review from some guy claiming the movie is "the worst movie I've ever seen", I'm a little skeptical. How many movies have you seen, buddy? However, if you're going to say that about "Chickboxer", I'm not going to knock you, as this movie sucks in pretty much every respect. I own the DVD and I'm amazed to learn there was a different opening scene on the original VHS-you mean there's worse than watching someone tie their shoes for five minutes?!?!? I won't dig into the flaws, because the entire movie is one massive flaw in and of itself, but will instead focus my contempt on the cynicism (or is it sadism?) that would allow a person to allow an amateurish piece of garbage like this to get distribution. How many people rented this back in the day, thinking they were going to be watching a legitimate B-movie? Happily, I paid $0.50 for my copy, new, still in the shrink wrap. And I still feel cheated.
