Opening title sequence show the main character on a train presumably going from Leeds to London. Or London to Leeds. The train is hauled by a Class 52 'Western' loco. But these were used exclusively going west to South Wales or Cornwall.

A Proper Classic!

Thank goodness for Talking Pictures bringing this wonderful series back! I remember it from the 70s but I was too young to appreciate it properly. Great stories, acting and fantastic set design. I'll be back later for a more in depth assessment!
