Oedipus Upgraded

This modernized version of OEDIPUS THE KING very well portrays Hubris, Hamartia, Anagnorisis & Peripeteia the essential elements in the construction of a tragic hero. The screenplay is Enriched by the great Latin American Gabo & his literary acumen. .. Everywhere it's a Gabo masterpiece.. Although An americanised version of the plague-torn Thebes the updated characterisation & their commensurate mannerisms steal the limelight.. As A 20 Years' EXPERIENCED SENIOR ENGLISH MENTOR & UNIVERSITY BOOK WRITER, I'd recommend the film to the Students of English Literature & ask them to enjoy it with a liberal outlook.. worth watching..
