Wissenswertes
The film (and ride) was shut down in 2004 (as well as the sister attraction, the IMAX Theater) when MGM Grand Resorts bought out the Luxor Hotel & Casino. The Interior of the Disney-esque ride, including all of the major set pieces were donated to the Children's Museum of Las Vegas. The entire interior of the ride has been gutted, except for the actual ride itself. According to engineers, they were built into the building during construction, and cannot be removed unless the entire center section of the casino is demolished so, as of December 2011, they stand there still.

Great show!

One of the first few effective "motion controlled" attractions. It was quite sophisticated in creating an atmosphere within the story. The pre-show was as detailed as anything Disney ever produced. Very effective and completely set up what guests were about to encounter. It ranks right up there with the best that Disney has to offer. I looked forward to visiting this attraction every time I visited Las Vegas. I was very sad that this was removed due to "progress". Great show. I hope someone has a video of the main show as I would love to have a remembrance of this most exciting experience. This was cutting edge technology at the time. And this should not be forgotten.
