Krieg Der Kinder

The script was written before the movie was assigned to the children group Parchis, which was made up of five members, Tino, Yolanda, David, Gema and Oscar. In the script, though, only three children plus the fat friend were the main characters. Tino, Yolanda and David were given these roles, while, Gema and Oscar, only appeared in the beginning and the end of the movie, disappearing after 20 minutes into the film up until the very last scene. In the plot, even though their absence was simply not mentioned and no one seemed to acknowledge they were missing, it was implied that these two kids were on vacation out of the city with their families while the other three stayed home. All the songs but one performed by Tino as a soloist and the final reprise song at the end were concentrated in the first 20 minutes of the film because of that.
