Galerias Preciados was a successful commercial place with a lot of salegirls while they intend to marry a handsome man , and there are several suitors : Fernando Fernán Gómez, Tony Leblanc, Leo Anchoriz, or Antonio Ozores. Ana (Analia Gadé) is in love with Juan Ferrandis (Fernando Fernán Gómez) , who seems to be very well in his condition of single. Olga (Vicky Lagos) has aspirations of the highest level , as her boyfriend must own a great car but but she has to settle for going with her fiancé (Antonio Ozores) in a simple moto Vespa , eventually she meets a cabman (Tony Leblanc) who goes after her . Pilar (Lucía Prado) aims to win a radio contest and falls in love for Carlos (Leo Anchóriz) . And there is also Álvaro, the botcher advocate at law (José Luis López Vázquez) whose only cause capable of defending, and even with a resounding failure, is the freedom of his friend, the irreducible bachelor Juán .

It is a so-so Spanish comedy that offers no intellectual stimulus whatsoever , though it has some fun and hilarious moments .This hilarious as well as average romantic comedy is full of humor , absurd scenes , and narrating the traditional Spanish society in which ruled a dictatorship with modernity. It is a simple , and humorous portrait of a time when the Spanish people live in the late Fifties , including the consuming society and a very slight opening to freer and more permissive societies . There are several topics in this film , though many of them we can find in current societies with certain parallelism in a traditional way of life .
It has a pleasant aesthetic full of light and color with stupendous photography in Technicolor and in filmscope by Manuel Merino. As well as atmospheric and evocative musical score by Antón Garcia Abril. The motion picture was regular but professionally directed by Pedro Lazaga who made various comedies and this was one of his greatest boxoffice hits and rightly so . Lazaga was a prolific and underrated filmmaker with whom Paco made nine films , all of them finely acted by this great artist .
