Instead of the typical exploration of connection, The Windshield Wiper's idea of love is in its antithesis - the denial or absence of connection. From thwarted internet matches to longings for people long gone, the seemingly unrelated vignettes visually emphasise the concept of love by portraying everything corollary to it. Love is defined as a yearning, an aftertaste, an end, an instability and more. The animation in this short is gorgeous and all the colourful distortions highlight all the heightened emotions of the experience of love.
