Well, in fact, there's not much good Indonesian movie reboots these days, mostly are bad. Only the horror ones turned out successfully, and this movie is one of it. though not perfect because some of it scenes just don't make sense, the action of some of the characters get a little bit forced, and the transition between scenes at the beginning of the movie goes too fast, it was all soon covered by a good visual and practical effect, simple yet understandable storyline, setting, scoring, and cinematography with the accurate portrayal of local nuance of the last 20th century's Indonesia. For that, 7/10 is what I give for this movie, but even by Hollywood standards, it's already good enough (and there's still so much room to grow in order to make a better movie, not just horror).
