Cast ABSOLUTELY ALMOST saves the picture...I was filled with ANGER that they didn't.

Pity they didn't have a bigger budget and more time and...

All the tropes are there: Burned out cop with anger issues, small town, a serial murderer, etc.

Think of it as a frost tinged giallo.

The cast for the most part are quite effective, especially the women.

Robynne Eaton and Sharon Belle are very well cast.

In fact, the cast are the best part of the movie, from the bit players to the leads.

The script needed work. Like another 4-5 passes.

Surprised?

The direction is adequate and there's some decent cinematography.

For a cheap (very cheap) made in Canada genre flick it's not bad.

I liked that it was set it Canada, for a change.
