When Becky came up behind Wesley and stole his wallet he was filming himself with a selfie-stick so she would clearly be on the recorded video, her face was right next to his, so there was no need for him to race after her and finally take a blurry, distant photo of her to show the police.

Stalking much

No pun intended - and it is not just about stalking I reckon. It is about a thief who seems to be in love with another woman. So yes there is some issue here when it comes to love and who loves who I reckon - especially if you do not like same gender love.

Something one of the two main characters has to be convinced of too. If it is possible to be convinced that is. The main problem the movie has though is the acting department. It might be because some are not speaking in their native language, it might be because they can't relate or something else. What is apparent: no one feels safe or good in their skin and with their role ... and no one seems to be up for it (no pun intended)
