Decker

Decker was completely self financed due to the fact that obtaining funds for an independent production with an action/comedy theme was impossible.

The entire movie was shot over period of 26 days with a crew of eight. Up to three locations a day had to be completed to be able to stick to the intense schedule.

All the fight sequences and stunts were performed by the actors themselves. For two months before shooting the actors trained intensively to make sure, that when on set, everyone knew what to do. Lead actor Jan Josef Kudlyk was injured in the final fight scene and had to be taken to a hospital. The fight choreography for this scene had to be changed in order to finish filming in time.

All the dialogue was rerecorded in post-production. Due to the strict shooting schedule, production sound could not be controlled and was unusable for most of the scenes. So the decision was made to rerecord everything and over a period of three months every actor/actress had to rerecord every line of dialogue in a sound booth.

The voice over for both the teaser and the official trailer was done by Christian Brückner.
