A Year of Blue Jays

Shot and edited in September 2020 with the final approval date being 09/17/2020. All Safe Sets protocols and procedures were observed. Originally a theatrical piece which was to be performed live at The 5th Annual Bridge PHL Theater Festival, the performance instead had to be presented virtually/remotely due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Playwright Christine Emmert and her husband Richard Emmert performed the play in their backyard, directed by their son, filmmaker Alexander Emmert, with cinematography and editing executed by CFA Weiss. The film premiered online for the Bridge PHL on the evening of October 22, 2020.
