This documentary would be good if the interviews were audible. The sound recordings of every interview are so bad that it seems like someone had to try to make them so terrible. This film was made with a lot of great info and commentary; content that is unintelligible without straining to hear through the bad audio quality or just turning on subtitles. I would never expect to need subtitles to hear what people are saying in a doc about music...
Buzz, Dale, and all of the other people being interviewed for this film, deserve a higher quality film to be made about them, their work, and the incredible impact their work has had on so many other talented musicians.
If you can tolerate the abysmal production quality of this doc, it's worth watching. Or do what I wish I did: mute it, put on subtitles, and blast some Melvins through your stereo!
