Edilsy Vargas was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, on July 18, 1989. Her mother, Carmen Rodriguez (Kirsy), was a computer systems engineer; and her Father Eddy Vargas was a Master of construction. Her stepfather Victor Rodriguez who raised her from age of three was an accountant. She has two younger sisters; Rashell Rodriguez and Pamela Vargas.
She studied music and painting at Bellas Artes School, developing her love for the performing arts and a particular passion for music. She moved with her family to Santo Domingo when she was 11 years-old, where she started her modeling career at a very young age, studying at John Casablanca's Modeling School, and from there started doing TV commercials, promotions, and print advertisements.
Edilsy worked as a TV host, and together with her now husband Mikey, developed their her own TV Show, called Guia del Bbuen Ccomer, which they produced, directed and edited. She studied acting with multiple Hispanic and American acting couches and acted, played in films like Pimp Bullies directed by Ving Rhames; and Alfonso Rodriguez produced by Panamericana and Dragon Films; , Luis Film directed by Archie Lopez from Panamericana Films, Lotoman, and many other films.
Edilsy has developed her own skin care and cosmetic range.
