Hope was once a graduate student of Chicago's 'Second City Improvisation Conservatory' program which is 2 years long. Each of the five levels are audition based. It was here that Hope learned the most about the highly competitive art of improvisation and sketch comedy in Chicago. She would go on to use this knowledge as a writer and director in film.
