Suggested the name Filipino Academy for Movie Arts and Sciences or
FAMAS as the name of the movie academy in the Philippines, instead of
the proposed Academy of Motion Pictures and Science of the Philippines
or AMPAS. This after the American Motion Pictures and Science (AMPAS)
has protested the use of Academy of Motion Pictures and Science of the
Philippines.
