Sarah-Jane Coombes
Sarah-Jane has lived in Southend on-sea all of her life and from a young age out fishing with her dad on their boat to now volunteering as Station Officer for HM Coastguard, she has always been drawn to the sea.
For her living by the sea, the smell of fresh air and walking her dogs barefoot in the sand along the beach to enjoying sunset dips on a summers evening is priceless.
In 2015 she discovered stand up paddle boarding, so with board and paddle in hand, she just had to give it go... she was truly bitten by the bug. In 2016 she became a qualified Sup instructor and have since taught 2800+ people.
Sarah has always been a huge fan of pay it forward and Blue Therapy became her passion to give back to the community along with helping people become more active.
She can always be found by the beach either teaching Sup, kayaking or leading bike rides and walks.
