Janus Blythe

Worked as a personal assistant to director / writer Tom Holland for a number of years. He wrote a small role for her as a woman who encounters vampire Jerry Dandrige outside of the nightclub in Die rabenschwarze Nacht - Fright Night (1985), but the scene was cut from the finished film.

[on playing Ruby in Hügel der blutigen Augen (1977)] I was offered the role of Lynn, which Dee Wallace ending up doing, but I really wanted to be Ruby. Here was this challenging role of the animal girl, with dirt and leather and rattlesnakes, and saving the baby. I really fell in love with the character. I'd been up for a lot of parts like Mach mich nicht an! (1976), which were just T&A, and I never felt comfortable with that. The horror genre was much more to my liking.
