- In a remote village where everyone knows each other, a girl goes missing under suspicious circumstances.

- "The wind got up in the night and took our plans away," reads the proverb in the opening titles of Museum of the Revolution. But the plan never got beyond the construction of the basement. The derelict building now tells a very different story from the one envisioned by the initiators 60 years ago. In the damp, pitch-dark building live the outcasts of a society reshaped by capitalism. The film focuses on a girl who earns a little cash on the street by cleaning car windows with her mother. The girl has a close friendship with an old woman who also lives in the basement. Against the background of a transforming city, the three women find refuge in each other.

- This first episode was quite eerie and engaging. The Mayor of Wasteland is Hana Sikorová. Hana runs a nursery in the woods where one of the children makes a shocking discovery. It looks like it may be related to the fight against the expansion of a nearby coal mine. Then there is a council meeting to decide on a referendum on the expansion of the mine. There is also some focus on the juvenile prison. There are a couple of subplots involving the Sikorova family, particularly one of the daughters.

Police also examines and Misin mentally ill father, Charles, former husband Hanina. An educator in the reformatory Adam discovers that Misin disappearance directly affects not only Filipova escape, but his own family.
