The adventures of Rango, a bumbling Texas Ranger stationed at Deep Wells Ranger Station in the late 19th century, and his sidekick, the cowardly Indian scout Pink Cloud.

Spud and Herbert are co-owners of Triple A Airlines, a one plane operation. Trying to put them out of business are rivals K.J. Crawford and son Ronnie, owners of the airfield they use. Crawford employee Becky is sweet on Spud and tries to help.

Rango and Pink Cloud are in Junction City when a beautiful blonde reports her priceless diamond necklace stolen. With the sheriff out of town, Rango and Pink Cloud step in to solve the case. Hijinks and hilarity ensue.

Spud and Herbert are hired to fly prospective buyers to a desert ghost town.tIt turns out to be front for an illegal gambling operation which Spud manages to bumble his way into.

Over Herbert's objections Spud agrees to take a very expectant mother to her destination. Also on board is a pregnant cat. When Spud is called on to deliver either kittens or a baby a nervous Herb must fly the plane.

To win the business of a gourmet club, Spud and Herb set up a restaurant service aboard Lucky Linda with Spud posing as a famous French chef.
