SINOPSIS El Cura y el Veneno Una fiesta lujosa en la Embajada Francesa de Madrid se convierte en el escenario de un crimen mortal. The crime, which at first glance seems so easily solved, takes on a serpentine movement that, little by little, uncovers well-kept secrets and hidden desires, the manifestations of a personal poison that we all carry within. Felipe, an unassuming priest and teacher at a religious school for boys, finds himself caught up in a series of murders of political intrigue. Forced to begin an independent investigation outside the law, Felipe finds himself so immersed in this world of death and mistrust, that he is thrown face to face with his own dark past, from which he had tried so hard to escape. This film resurrects the essence of classic film noir in a modern day context. With a strongly expressive and impacting aesthetic, this film creates an atmosphere of uncertainty, where appearances deceive and distrust reigns. The audience will find themselves submerged in this world of mystery and conflict, attempting to untangle a web of intrigue, until the final and most unexpected conclusion.

A beautiful young artist Barbara has died in a fire at her studio. Her death appearing to be accidental, has destroyed her sister Lorena, a talented photographer, to the extent that she has started seeing a specialist to overcome the trauma. With the help of the psychiatrist Fernando, Lorena tries to analyze her feelings and recover from the death of her sister, but her strong armor resists these efforts and affects her work so her first photography exhibition following the death of Barbara turns out to be a complete failure.

A glamorous eccentric places an ad offering a room in her home in exchange for help around the house, a service she doesn't yet realize she no longer has a use for.
