Broken Darkness follows the exciting story of Sam (Sean Cameron Michael, Black Sails), a broken man who after the world ends from a massive Meteor shower and the death of his son, is forced to survive underground. He and his trusted friend Troy (Brandon Auret, Elysium, Chappie) along with a young female Rose (Suraya Santos), are thrust on a journey that takes them into the darkest parts of the underground world where they find themselves on the run with a crew of rag tag yet heavily armed rangers. Hunted down by mutated creatures, bandits and cannibals alike, their undeniable defiance to return home is challenged, and an honest story emerges to reveal the heart of friendship in the face of death. Broken Darkness is a tale of selflessness, friendship and courage.

Handsome young vampire Billy (Andre Frauenstein) seems to have finally found his true love in Jenny Shapiro (Rikki Brest), a beautiful young woman he meets at a nightclub. Despite efforts by those around them to keep the two apart, including Billy's past love Lisa (Christina Storm), they appear to be destined for each other. Their happiness is suddenly cut short when a scientist researching a treatment for HIV/AIDS accidentally discovers a serum that will allow vampires to walk in daylight with humans. This leads to an all-out war between vampires who are against the serum and those who would use it to leave the shadows of night, including vicious upstart vampire Borlak (David James) who will stop at nothing to obtain it. Billy and police detective Joe Kau must now work together to protect Jenny and her family and to keep this discovery from those who would use it against all of humanity. Along the way they meet Zac (Anton Ace Smith) a 16-year-old boy who knows information that can help them. Can he help them in time to save all humanity from the grasp of darkness?

The South African Border War, commonly referred to as the Angolan Bush War in South Africa, refers to the conflict that took place from 1966 to 1989 in South -West Africa (now Namibia) and Angola between South Africa and its allied forces (mainly UNITA) on the one side and the Angolan government, South-West Africa People's Organisation (SWAPO), and their allies - mainly Cuba - on the other. It was closely intertwined with the Angolan Civil War and the Namibian War of Independence. This film plays off against this backdrop. The year is 1978 and the Angolan Bush War is reaching a crescendo. Operation Reindeer is in full swing. After losing his brother, a man learns the importance of humanity and the realities of war when his unit, capture SWAPO prisoners of war and transport them back over the borer towards friendly lines.

A music video produced for the South African band, Prime Circle. Directed by Christopher-lee dos Santos, the video was shot in December of 2010, and finally finished February of 2011, needing much post work to be done with the under water sequences. The music video was well received by South African audiences.
