- Heterosexuals follows three couples as they navigate romance in the Big Apple while managing an ever-increasing series of personal hurdles. Rhonda and Nick are old friends who always share the details of their romantic disasters. But when Nick and Rhonda arrange a meeting, magical things unfold. Larry and Denny have been married ten years. Their love is deep. But when financial strains begin to crack their foundation they must fight to resist the temptations that offer each a relief from the pressure. - "The End of America" details the ten steps a country takes when it slides toward fascism. It's not a "lefty" taught-to-me, but rather a historical look at trends in once-functioning democracies from modern history that are being repeated in our country today. It gives any reader (or viewer of the lecture) a much-needed history lesson and constitutional refresher. Most importantly, it puts the recent gradual loss of civil liberties in the U.S. in a historical context. The average American might not be alarmed at AT&T selling our private information to the federal executive, but when this action is seen as part of a larger series of erosions and events, a pattern emerges with unfortunate consequences that become disturbingly clear.
- When a secret US defense satellite containing missile activation codes crashes on a remote island off the coast of Thailand, one spy, one rebel, and one criminal race to recover the hard drive.
- A skeptical grad student and a renowned paranormal specialist investigate a potentially haunted home and the troubled woman inside whose affliction may be beyond the capacity of either of them.
- Pete spends his morning patrolling a park, teaching himself how to whistle. While somewhere out there a cop is busting gang bangers, running down suspects, and solving murders, Pete's biggest hazard on the security guard beat is a close tie between fending off boredom and dealing with disaffected teenagers who throw a candy bar at his head between hits from a doobie. On break, Pete waits in line at a nearby donut shop. When Pete corrects a little boy who excitedly mistakes him for a cop, the little boy's shoulders drop in disappointment. How can adults, teenagers, or even children respect a security guard when he swaps shifts with a 65 year old woman? Pete's day takes a turn for the better when strangely, a beautiful, mysterious woman takes notice of him and strikes up a flirtatious conversation, eying his badges and well ironed uniform. Pete doesn't exactly say he IS a cop, but he doesn't exactly admit he ISN'T either. Things seem to be going Pete's way, when the doors to the donut shop kick open and the worst day of all time waltzes in, brandishing hellfire spittin' guns and the attitude to match. As tension mounts, the whole donut shop looks to Pete to save them. Pete has to go along with being a 'cop' or risk losing the girl, but who is he to save the day either? And if a cop-like-badge doesn't make it Pete's responsibility to do something, who's responsibility is it? Terror will reign. Love will be tested. And one man will rise, a donut shop hero.
- A heartbroken man attempts to find closure with his lost love and best friend.
