- Susi, as a blind young woman, has grown up with a naive dependence on her older sister Laura. As Laura helps Susi prepare for her first date, we get a glimpse at the distressing, obsession that has actualized in Laura. The film conveys the complex dynamic and co-dependent relationships between the sisters. Although the older sister, Laura, is not the blind one, she cannot see the true reality, and she insists on inappropriate possessive relationship. 'Like Sugar On the Tip Of My Lips' is about Laura's feeling of lost, and love that comes from pain. Over the course of the story, we also witness younger sister's self inner revolution to freedom and courage.
- It is a cold winter in the beautiful city of Chicago. The streets are filled with people, laughing,, crying, kissing, begging for food. Here, the stories of three young women form different backgrounds intersect. Julie, a headstrong South American immigrant, drives a taxi cab through the busy streets in hopes that she will find her mother who abandoned her as a child. Elsewhere, in the back of a packed theater Olivia quietly watches her childhood friend Sally perform an Avant-Garde stage performance. Conflicted between friendship and love, Sally and Olivia have gone their separate ways; their once-close relationship severed. While Olivia's strict Japanease parents pay for her to attend an American fine art school during the day, she secretly takes to the streets at night to work as an escort. Sally yearns to reconnect with Olivia but refuses to part with her ever-supportive boyfriend, Jack. She is also haunted by memories of her abusive stepbrother who was sent to prison for murdering her father. As the three women work and live in the city, they are each confronted by new hardships. Each must deal with the choices she has made and the cards she has been dealt in life. After hitting bottom, each character finds that the Chicago streets continue to bustle; and despite coming from different places and cultures, they are all connected by commonality of Human experience in the Moden world.

She is a girl that wants love so desperately from the cold ruthless society that causes her to struggle so. Although she works as a prostitute, outside of her job she deals with situations that much of the world can relate to. This is not a story f a young prostitute rather a story about a girl who was left behind by the lack of love in her life and lives everyday struggling with her misconceptions of love, hoping for the best. Sumi attempts to find true love in this life by beginning 'Her Smile' getting ready for her 'loves' arrival
- Life Rocks as Hell deals with the difficulties of parenthood, whilst showing the strain of growing up and finding oneself. Scarlet, a young girl becomes confused, growing up in an unstable home and has found herself experimenting to find out who she is, while her mother sits back depressed at what she has become and what is left of her home.
