A couple travel from Manchester to London for their daughter's 18th birthday at an unknown location. As they travel they reflect upon their relationship and how they became estranged from their child.

Landowner Ata stays at his uncle's in the countryside while on business. There, he meets childhood friend Maryam. The two form an instant bond. However, thanks to family meddling, the news soon reaches Sepideh, his wife. Before long rumors fly about Ata's infidelity. As the family bicker about how to handle the situation, Ata's concern is for his young son. Gentle comedy peppers this bittersweet drama.

However, this only scratches the surface of their vast differences. As they become embroiled in a complicated series of car chases and twists, it is uncertain whether the two will put aside their misgivings about one another.
