- Ten years in the film industry inspired Director's Cuts. This satirical comedy explores how the different egos on a film set are prefigured in the psychological dynamics of the school playground, where some familiar human stereotypes show how they were destined to find their respective careers. The different time frames of the film are reflected in the 1970s styling and super8 look of the flashback scenes which contrast with contemporary handheld photography as a crew struggle to make a classic 1940s 'film noir' scene work. By liaising with schools and casting children in key roles, we share the excitement of working in the film industry, at the same time demystifying the filmmaking process.

- Kimberley sees another woman's name show up on her boyfriend's caller ID. She goes on to tell him that one day he will look back at what "coulda been" and regret letting her go.
