Surrounded by endless forest, close by a river, a small community exists where everyone seems to lead idyllic lives. After a few years away, Johanna returns to the village, and becomes aware that things have changed. William, a writer, has inherited his grandfather's house. Gradually, he starts to get the feeling that the circumstances surrounding Vladimir's death are more complicated than they initially appear.

In August 1999 three ninjas disappeared in the woods near Eastbay. They were trying to find and make a movie about the spirits of ninja. Four weeks later their footage was found. Relatives and friends of the ninjas have cut the material together to get a picture about what really happened out there.

This video-release documentary gives film fans an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at the making of the Swedish erotic action-thriller, 'Farligt förflutet'. Includes interviews with the cast and crew of the picture, who give their personal takes on what it was like to be a part of the film.
