"Dove Comincia la Notte" is a film in the tradition of overtly subtle horror films like the beautiful "Un Sussurro nel Buio" from 1976, where no manifestation of the supernatural ever happens, yet the main characters are so haunted by a past event that they won't be able to escape in the end.
