- A child plays in the woods next to an isolated cabin. An exhausted Mountie faints by the cabin, and the child helps him inside to the bed. She gives him a spoonful of liniment and rubs Castor oil on his face. He awakes and tells her he's been chasing moonshiners. She vows to capture them, dons her Mountie mascot uniform, and sets out in pursuit. She gets the draw on three of them, but a fourth grabs her. She continues to follow them past Moonshine River to the moonshiners' hideout. She loses her uniform and is lassoed by the ringleader. A Mountie should always get her man, but is she resourceful enough to turn this into an opportunity?
- Alice is the daughter of a fisherman. She gathers herring to support her family. Alice's folks are worshipers of the cuckoo clock. Even the dog bows his head in prayer when the cuckoo cuckoos. Joe, a sailor, loves Alice. He calls on her at midnight, and takes her to a cabaret. While there, a sea captain falls in love with Alice, and strange things come to pass when Alice sees the hula hula dancers. Joe takes Alice home under great difficulties Alice and Joe are happily married and are proprietors of a lunch room. Undaunted by his previously unsuccessful attempts the sea captain is still bent on possessing Alice, and lays his plans to kidnap her. Alice is kidnapped, and is placed on a sea going vessel. Just as Joe comes home. He pursues the yacht with his billowy sail boat. Just as he is about to catch the vessel he is lassoed and left mercilessly to drown. Instead, Joe pulls himself up on the rope and outs his way in through the boat. Meanwhile, Alice is having her troubles trying to keep the captain out of her stateroom. Joe rescues Alice, and there follows a lively boat chase with marines, patrol boats, etc. Alice and Joe manage to destroy the lighthouse in which the captain and his crew sought to shelter themselves. A novel ending follows.
- Baby Peggy as the mischievous child of doting and fussy parents.
- Buster, Mary Jane and Tige engage in a game of indoor golf, smashing windows, mirrors and china, with the result that Mrs. Brown hires a tutor to keep the mischievous trio straight. The tutor, however, provides a fresh field for their pranks, until they escape and hide in a stolen munition car which is pursued by the police.
- Hulda is a Dutch clog dancer stowaway who gets a job in a big city cabaret.
- A man goes to a sea-side hotel where the proprietor wagers him a thousand dollars that he will fall in love with one of the girl guests.
- Dolly, a farmer maiden, longs to become a screen star. A visiting film company wants to shoot "Uncle Tom's Cabin" on the farm and she gives permission. When the leading lady fails to arrive, Dolly is cast as Little Eva, Topsy and Eliza. Various laughable sequences occur in the filming of the venerable classic along somewhat unique lines. At the end of the day, Dolly draws all of the undeveloped film from the camera magazines, hoping to see her "pitcher," thus ruining the most original version of the "Tom" show ever screened.
- Harry has a rival for the hand of a fair damsel. The girl is disappointed because neither of her suitors brings candy. Harry Radios Pal to bring along a box of the sweets. The rival sees Pal with the package and lures it away from him. Pal reciprocates by substituting a fake package for the real one, much to the chagrin of the rival. The latter telephones to a band of roughnecks to come over to the girl's house and "Get" Harry. They try it with dynamite, but are thwarted by Pal.
- A story about school days and the pranks of children who are trying to get a vacation ahead of time.
- Buster and Tige go out in a toy sedan and are accidentally caught in a dog catcher's net and finally break a hydrant; the force of the water lifts the little car into the air. They aid Buster's sweetheart, Mary Jane to get rid of a troublesome tooth by means of a sky rocket, and she takes them to the home of her father where there is a meeting of spiritualists. This is pie for Buster, who calls the gang together and they impersonate spooks of all kinds. On being discovered, Buster dresses all the kids like himself and has the leading spiritualist think he is actually "seeing things" as Buster seems to be in several places at once. As is frequently the case with Buster, he ends by getting spanked and making another resolution.
- Weazel Tail Bend was so crooked it couldn't see straight. The sheriff and his deputy had the habits of Jesse James, and he also robbed the country by teaching school. The weekly train was the town's only sport. The engineer knew Weazel Bend- so he didn't even hesitated. They had a nice soft mattress on the station platform to catch the passengers that chanced that way. But one day the town was brightened considerably by the arrival of Miss Betsy Beautiful, whom the School Trustee sent to relieve the sheriff of one of his duties-teaching school. Her sweetheart Hiram Biff, had followed her, how ever, riding on his nerve and the engine rod. "Big Kick Kitchen," was the place where society mixed soft drinks with hard fists. Even the bad guy, Pineapple Pete, didn't look so hard, sipping a soft drink. However, looks are not everything. Pineapple decided to pay the bank an unofficial visit to draw out some cash he had never deposited, but he was interrupted by our friend the Sheriff, who demanded half of the loot. Everything was going lovely, when who should appear but Hiram. He rounded up the crooks in fine shape, grabbed the money with one hand, his girl with the other and they both grabbed the first train going the other way.
- Harry and his friend hate work, but necessity drives them to take jobs as taxi drivers, and they find they are competitors of a bully whose enmity they have previously incurred. The boys combine to harass him and meet with great success.
- The story of a bad organ grinder, a life saver, a pretty girl and her baby sister. A dog takes an active part in the final rescue and helps save the child from the fleeing kidnapper.
- Buster and Tige are in bed asleep. A fly hectors the dog, who brushes it away. It lights on Buster's face. The dog smashes it with his paw. A policeman is at the window getting coffee from the cook. Buster, with the aid of stilts, impersonates a tall cop, goes to the window and introduces himself as the new roundsman. She serves him pie. The dog bites at the stilts, throwing him out of balance and catapulting the pie into the cook's face. Another custard pie covers the dog, who washes himself -at a fountain. The schoolmaster scolds Buster when he comes to school late. Tige sneaks in and sits beside Buster while the teacher snoozes. When discovered, the teacher throws him out, but he gets in again. A little boy at the next desk munches a piece of Limburger cheese which nauseates Tige. The dog and cheese are thrown out again. The teacher calls Buster to the desk and orders him to give him what he has in his hand. Buster slips a giant cracker under the chair, which explodes when the teacher sits down. Tige runs around with the cheese in his mouth, and as he passes beneath a board fence all the birds on the fence drop dead. For revenge on the teacher he jumps into the window of the school with the Limburger throwing the place into a furor.
- Lee manages to find plenty of apartments but none would take children. At last he gets a janitor's job so that he can make some of the tenants move. He tries to frighten them out with a mouse but his wife does not like the apartment. He then creates a lot of smoke and calls "fire." This brings them a good sized apartment but also lands them all in jail. The jail is fitted up with the latest improvements and they are just about beginning to enjoy their home when the horrid jailer appears and informs them that their time is up and they will have to get out.
- The heroine lavishes affection upon a dog whom she believes to be her reincarnated husband.
- A spoof of Bizet's Carmen. Somewhere in Spain, a young girl gets the better of the neighborhood boys, then, dressed as a fashionable senorita, visits a club where a boy is demonstrating a tango. She joins him to the enjoyment of the spectators. In act 2, she's dressed as a matador and presents herself at the arena to General della Bambinodi Carradavadoves, a man who knows bulls. She fights one and finds that her sword isn't strong enough to stab him. In the excitement, the General falls from the stands, and he and the child must face the brute. Is there an escape?
- Chocolate Drop was out of work and when he sees a sign on one of the circus tents reading "'Lion Feeder" wanted - he applies. He is given the job, but when he sees the lions, and they playfully try to snap his hand off, chew his hat up, and a few other pranks, he hot foots it to the nearest river and in he goes. Jimmy, the Village Peeper, is caught flirting with the Queen of the circus, through the tent flaps. The watcher of the circus wallops him and sends him spinning. He lands in front of the manager of the circus. The manager asks him if he is looking for a job, to which he answers in the affirmative. He is given the job of a clown and all around helper. He waters the elephants, feeds the lions, imitates a rope walker and everything that's possible he is, and does. A little side show takes place when the peanut man gets in the way of the angry mob when the gates are opened. A three cornered jealousy springs up between the manager, the lion tamer and Jimmy. They all are madly in love with the Queen of the Circus. To get even with the lion tamer, Jimmy lets the lions out of their cages. Then the fun begins. The lions are starved and make one bee line for the audiences. Several of the lions go into the various tents, where the freaks are having their show. One [man]'s eyes go back on him when he sees the lions and refuse to turn back, they become crossed. His feet, however, are his friends, and they sure do make some speed in getting away from the lions. The lion tamer, Jimmy and the Queen try to wrap themselves up in one of the tents to escape the lions, but leave it to the Hons to get into anything. We see the lion emerge from the tent with all kinds of clothing draped around hint, and when all is quiet, the lion having gone further looking for trouble, we see the three "chicken " hearts come up out of the ground.
- Edna is a slavey in a boardinghouse. She has a good time when she sleeps - on the floor, rolled up in a carpet, with a phonograph playing on her chest. The landlady pays her $2 a week and thinks it is too much. The star boarder loves Edna, but does not pay his rent. When the landlady comes in through the door, the boarder pops out through the window. He slips downstairs to help Edna dry dishes. Then he goes with her to the market. She gives him her bundles. He drops them, falls over them, bumps, trips and finally manages to get home with them. Edna spies an ad which calls for an athletic instructor. She takes him with her. The fat gym owner wants Edna and gives the boarder a sock in the eye to let him know that he is not wanted. Edna insists that he be hired. Then it is that the boarder has the time of his life, pulling a porous-plaster from his boss' back, and also massaging him. The boss takes a dislike to him and chases him all over the gym. Edna, meanwhile, is in gym togs doing gym tricks with the girls. The men battle in the swimming pool, on the trapeze, on an upper runway, and over the gym floor. Back in the pool again, the boarder lands on his boss' neck and sticks, thumping him with a rolling-pin for a grand and glorious victory.
- Little Jack is sent to the market by his mother to sell the old cow and while there turns it over to an unscrupulous person for a bag of beans. When Little Jack arrives home the mother, upon seeing what Jack has received for the old family cow, throws the beans into the back yard. The next morning a big tree, reaching into the skies, has grown where the beans were thrown. Little Jack climbs this tree and reaches the kingdom of the terrible giant. After a series of very dangerous adventures, Little Jack kills the giant.
