Some punks go into a small town and start hassling the gas station owner; Billy Ray Dalton a friend of the owner pulls a shot gun on them and tells them to go away. Later they go back and force the owner to tell them where Dalton lives. Now, Dalton a part time musician's out on a gig, when they go to his house and kill his pregnant wife, and take his daughter. Dalton follows them to try and get his daughter back.

On her deathbed a woman tells her son that 30 years before she had been a surrogate mother for a millionaire, and that he is that baby's identical twin. He goes to Los Angeles to try and get some of the inheritance, but his brother refuses to even talk to him. So he gets an apartment across from his brother and begins a stakeout as he writes a tabloid story about it, and begins to fall in love from a distance with his brother's wife.

"Out 2 Lunch!" captures the fun and romantic misadventures of early teenage life: seeking one's self identity, learning the meaning of true friendship and loyality, the rock-and-roll drama of blossoming sexual awareness and first kiss, taking the initial tentative steps into adulthood - all based on true stories provided by actual teen-agers attending a typical Southern California Junior High School (Palms Jr H.S. in Los Angeles, Ca.)
