1945. Three Italians are running away from a small handful of soldiers of Tito who are seeking revenge for the oppression suffered during the twenty years of fascism by annihilating the enemy. The rush, through the cold and dense surrounding vegetation, however, will be short-lived. Parallel to this story, the film will turn its gaze to the present day following Alma, a woman in search of herself who, in some way, will see her present intertwined with a distant and painful past.
