'The Story Of The Heart' was composed by Rick McKee, and performed by Missi Hale. Inspired by a quote from the late Maya Angelou ("I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."), the piece was composed to capture the heart of a 1930's Gershwin/ Porter standard, and remind the listener what truly matters on a journey through the human experience.
