- They say that the army turns a boy into a man, but what does it do to girls? Female soldiers -series follows young women in army greens for about a year. Many men do their military service just because it is mandatory. But women volunteering to do it are usually aiming high. Achieving big dreams takes lots of hard work and each of the women test their own extreme limits both physically and mentally. There will be tears and disappointments but also laughter, joy and success. In this series for the very first time we get to see a glimpse of how military service in the Finnish defense forces looks like for young women. We follow their journey and dramatic challenges from new recruits towards goals and the dream of a place in leadership training or special crew assignments. How far will the women get and how will the army change the girls?

- Attitude decides. Who are the new female warriors Milla, Anni, Henna and Anne? Intake batch 2/18's recruits begin their military service in the navy in the coastal brigade in Upinniemi. Dormitory's superior corporal Henni Sinilaakso guides new rookies to army order and discipline.
- Willpower. On the second week real action begins with fitness tests and first shooting with live ammunition. Do our female warriors clear the trials?
- Hope for the best, be prepared for the worst. What to do when your body fails you, but you wouldn't want to give up? Rookies take part in a five day bush camp. Milla and Henna wrestle with mixed emotions.
- Disappointment. Five day sweaty camp is finally over. All have given their best shot, but during feedback tears flow. On a march one group gets lost in the forest.
- Toward new unknowns. Rookies of room 8 fret together about their further education posts. The chapter culminates in the military oath, but the celebrations are shadowed by a big disappointment for Anni.
- Strong or hard. Basic training is over, women have settled down in their new units and learning of new things has begun. Henni dreams of place in the reserve officer training and even hurt struggles onward on a cable march.
- Keep calm. A stint to the warwound hospital in Kauniala brings Anni's emotions to the surface. Anne needs to keep calm in a live ammo exercise, as well as Milla, who takes part in a large field exercise. How does Henni fare in a demanding final test?
- Freedom and responsibility. Milla leads a squad in live ammo exercise and responsibility weighs on Anni's shoulders in a new assignment. Anne adapts to new accommodations and Henni swallows bitter tears in a fitness test.
- Grit is rewarded. Henni and Anne both get excellent news. Henni attends a gala, but etiquette and gender roles give something to puzzle over for her and her avec. Anni fumbles with skies and Milla shows her skills as an instructor.
- Over and done with. Anne has one final exercise on sea before her service ends. A New chapter begins in Henni's life. When one door closes, another opens. What did the army make of the girls?
- Do I look like a soldier already? Melissa, Maria, Suvi and Rosa wake up eager for their first day in the army. How do first close-order dill go in too big combat boots?
- One gets into the vibes. Rookies endure the first evaluations of their physical condition and the Cooper's test. First combat exercise puts their pain tolerance to the test. Maria is puzzled over her results in first live ammo shooting.
- Barrel out of the peat. Rookies are facing their first several day field exercise in the forest. How will Suvi fare? She isn't familiar with rambling in the woods.
- We ain't rookies anymore. Three day exercise in the forest is coming to an end and the journey back from the forest to the barracks will be marched on foot. Suvi relies on humour, but Maria is not laughing.
- Objective reached. Exciting revealing of selections for further assignments brings feelings to surface. Who has enough points to get into NCO training?
- Attitude okay and antennas out. Melissa gets to finally train for "city warfare" Suvi feel insecurity in a shooting exercise. Rosa moves to Pori brigade. Maria has hurt her knee.
- Step on it. Rosa gets to drive for the first time an armored vehicle together with her driving partner Niininen. Melissa and Suvi get new insignia. Maria's struggle on the march of Kirkkojärvi begins.
- Blood, Steel. How will Maria survive the legendary Kirkkojärvi march, when her body starts to jam. New recruits arrive in Kainuu brigade and are met by fresh corporals Suvi and Melissa.
- State of emergency. Maria is celebrating her graduation from reserve officer training and Melissa is apprehensive about capture of a dangerous person - exercise. Rosa gets to "clown around with a Pasi" for a change. The chapter ends in dramatic circumstances.
- Nought left. Female soldiers have adapted to the special arrangements brought on by the Covid spring, but they feel that their time in the service is dwindling away too fast.
