She has written and directed eight short films in her four years at San Diego State University, including her award-winning film, Surface. Storytelling has always been a large part of Erin Martinez's life. Her love of psychological thrillers shows in her work, as most of her films have a surprising twist at the end. When she's not directing her films, she is the Vice-President of SDSU's Film Society and often helps students apply to get into SDSU's competitive film program.
