Roma from Romania and Moldova deported up to Bug River is a tragic episode in the history of Europe. They were exiled to camps and ghettos along the River Dniester in the summer of 1942. From three thousand Roma living in Moldova, only half returned home. Today few people know about the horrors of the Nazis regime. From wagons and cars we were put in freights. When we reached the Bug River, the Roma people realized that only cold and misery awaited them here, remembers some of them. The film presents the memories of the holocaust survivors who safely returned to their homes in 1944 after the Second World War.
